The commissioning authority operates on the project as a representative of the owner/entrepreneur to establish specifications, test procedures and perform verifications alongside the draftsman, and also accompanies the system's assembly, acceptance and post-acceptance processes. The commissioning of air and water systems (including TAB), ensures the expected system performance set by the draftsman and by the owner's criteria and norms. On an industrial scale, commissioning also ensures that process and product-specific preset conditions are met.



The process through which a third-party issues a written statement, guarantying that a product, process, or service meets the specified requirements. On new installations, it's paramount to clearly divise the accountability of multidisciplinary teams partaking in the construction. Acting independently from the parties involved, we perform tests in accordance with internationally acknowledged standards on operational steps known as “as-built”, “at-rest” and “in operation”.

HVAC engineering and its advisory body aim at assisting the owner/entrepreneur to elaborate a new project documentation by transcribing and then improving on the demands and concepts presented, as well as evaluating and following up on the executive project planning and the installation per se. On existing installations, we are apt to solve chronic issues and evaluate a system's conditioning and refrigeration performance.

TAB (Testing, Adjusting, Balancing)


On new installations, TAB is the process that completes the system install, producing optimal performance as required by the project while assuring standards in regard to energy consumption ratio, thermal comfort, operational costs, internal airflow, air and water/fluid distribution, room pressure differential, equipment performance, and product temperature on cold storage chambers. On existing installations, TAB pinpoints possible unforeseen system or heat load distribution problems and should be applied when internal heat load modifications occurred (due to layout alterations, personnel or equipment increase/decrease), to recover the performance set by the original project and achieve the same benefits of a new installation.
